This MCRGO (Michigan Coalition for Responsible Gun Owners) licensed class is geared towards individuals who wish to become a MCRGO AR-15 Basics Instructor. Topics discussed in this course include: History of the AR-15 Familiarization with the Controls, Parts, Pieces and Operation of the Platform Common Configurations of the AR-15 Barrel Twist Rate and Stabilization Ammunition, Compatibility & Interchangibility Malfunctions, Stoppages and their Resolution(s) Safe Rifle Handling and Usage Fundamentals and Marksmanship Disassembly of the AR-15 Cleaning and Maintenance Instructor candidates will learn various teaching methods to give students the best experience for their individual learning style. The class culminates with several live-fire, practical skills assessments and excercises. Instructor candidates will be required to actively teach sections of this curriculum to the other candidates in their class both in the calssroom and on the range. This course was developed by MCRGO licensed instructors and is designed the information presented is basic in nature inorder to make learning for students as simple as possible. Prerequisites: Current MCRGO CPL Instructor Credentials with MCRGO AR-15 Student certificate of completion or hold current NRA Rifle Instructor rating. Round Count: 100 Rounds Legnth: 12 hrs Note: If you take both the student and instructor course with us, you will be eligible for a 10% discount when bundling both classes.
